About IJMB PROGRAMME

IJMB simply means Interim Joint Matriculation Board. The programme is an approved, proven & certified advanced level (A/Level) programme moderated by Ahmadu Bello University (ABU, Zaria) with different coordinating bodies in various states nationwide.

The programme at the initial stage was designed to provide an opportunity for candidates who cannot gain admission to regular degree programmes in Northern Universities due to different reasons. The entry qualification into IJMB is purely Ordinary Level result (O’level) also, candidates awaiting result can apply and meet their mates in 200level without JAMB.

Government Approved

IJMB is approved by the federal government of Nigeria as a requirement for admission into 200lv without JAMB.

Certification

The interim joint matriculation board programme is certified by the National Universities Commission.

CoursE SPECIALIZATION/ FEES

The course specialization is divided into three (3). The three areas of specialization at our various centres is Arts, Social sciences and Sciences. A candidate looking to undergo IJMB programme must fall into any of the categories.

SCIENCES

As a science student at our centre, you are required to complete the sum of N200,000 in three (3) instalment. The amount covers practical, accommodation, acceptance and tuition fees.

SOCIALSCIENCES

The fee for social sciences is the same as Arts and all payments should be completed in at most, three (3) instalments.

ARTS

Art students are expected to complete their fees (N180,000) in three instalments. The amount covers accommodation, tuition and acceptance fees.

BREAKDOWN OF FEES

Acceptance: N20,000
Accommodation: N60,000. (First come first serve)
Practical (sciences): N20,000.
Tuition: N100,000
